R Programmer - Empirical Education, Inc., Palo Alto CA

We have an opening for an R programmer with expertise in producing custom graphics and output formatting/report generation. Experience in developing GUIs and programmatic interfaces is preferred. Working knowledge of SQL is a plus. Proficiency in statistical programming is expected, especially in mixed models, survey analysis, and/or nonparametric methods. This is a contract position starting in September 2010 with an initial four-month term.

ORAU/ORISE Job Opening - Scientific Programmer/Analyst 2

Oak Ridge Associated Universities is seeking a Scientific Programmer/Analyst 2 to support the Occupational Exposure and Worker Health (OEWH) Beryllium Laboratory operation, including a redesign of the current system and incorporation of R routines into the LPT analysis, and also to support the data analysis in the Department of Energy (DOE) Beryllium Registry. This includes expansion of an existing R package that analyzes exposure data, producing several statistical measures. This position will also support other MS SQL applications within OEWH.

Vacancy for R workshop facilitator

The Science Postgraduate Support Group (SciPS) offers training of a generic nature for postgraduate students, researchers and members of staff within all of the science schools at the University of Sussex. Training consists of 2-3 hour workshop sessions held throughout the academic year with most workshops running at least once per term.
