I'm running Ubuntu and had previously used the Ubuntu Software Center application to download a version of R. The version was 2.10. I have just recently downloaded and built 2.12 in my home directory. I cannot figure out how to my console to recognize the newer version of R. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
